Willesden Green and Eckville Shallow Gas Fields (2008 to 2010)

Willesden Green and Eckville Shallow Gas Fields
  • Due to the volume of wells drilled and tied-in over the period of a year (100+ wells), an extensive effort was made to develop a standardized and simple design with repeatability for all equipment on site.
  • Due to a varying network of existing gathering systems, pipeline materials ranged from steel and HDPE to composites (i.e., Flexpipe & Flexsteel). Extensive work with Facilities, Construction, and Operations on a continual basis to improve construction cycle times was important.
  • Being a junior company, the client was very schedule and cost driven. To satisfy their needs, a simple but effective standardized wellhead metering setup was developed. Bulk prefabrication of 3 inch and 4 inch, 300# and 600# ANSI riser assemblies, pigging assemblies, and riser assemblies assisted in ensuring an acceptable standard was maintained and simplified construction greatly.
